This is a lovely asana to stretch the spine, shoulders and hamstrings. It relaxes the stress in the lower back and also helps digestion, which otherwise may cause various skin issues like pimples and acne. In addition to being helpful for lowering stress, this pose also purifies the blood, enhances skin tone, and lessens the appearance of wrinkles and dark spots. Yoga's Paschimottasana is ideal for skin care.

Start by assuming a floor-seated position and extending your legs in front of you.

* Put your feet together and flex them in your direction. While you inhale, raise your spine straight.

* After exhaling, bend forward while bending from the hips and keeping your spine straight.
