Okada vs. SANADA IWGP title battle live results from NJPW Sakura Genesis

The main match of today's NJPW Sakura Genesis event at Tokyo's Sumo Hall is Kazuchika Okada vs. SANADA.

SANADA, the victor of the 2023 New Japan Cup, will face Okada as he prepares to defend the IWGP World Heavyweight Title. In nine career singles matches, Okada has defeated SANADA 8-1.

The programme will include a total of five title matches.

Hiromu Takahashi defends the IWGP Junior Heavyweight championship in the semi-main match against TMDK's newest recruit, Robbie Eagles.

The IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Champions Hirooki Goto & YOSHI-HASHI will defend their titles against Australian Open's Mark Davis & Kyle Fletcher.

The NJPW World Television championship will be defended by Zack Sabre Jr. against Shota Umino.

In a triple threat bout against AZM and Hazuki, Mercedes Mone challenges for the IWGP Women's championship.
