College basketball fans are in astonishment after Caitlin Clark of Iowa receives a technical penalty during the national championship game.

In the third quarter of the national championship game against LSU, Iowa's skilled shooter Caitlin Clark was dealing with foul trouble, and one call late in the quarter shocked viewers at home.

When Clark moved the ball to the baseline after a foul call on one of her teammates, she was assessed a technical foul. Clark had previously established single-game tournament records for points and three-pointers made. The foul was Clark's fourth of the contest.
